Test Principle
The gas inside the test package is brought to the gas sensor by the air pump. The instrument analyzes the volume of oxygen and carbon dioxide (optional) contained in the sample gas by calculating the electrical signals generated by the gas sensor. When the preset condition is met, the test is completed and the system records the oxygen and carbon dioxide (optional) concentration.

High-Precision Oxygen MeasurementThis analyzer features an advanced electrochemical sensor, delivering accurate measurements from 0-100% oxygen with a rapid response time of less than 10 seconds. Its digital LCD display ensures results are easy to interpret, making it ideal for both routine checks and more detailed quality assurance.
User-Friendly and Efficient OperationDesigned for semi-automatic use, the device offers intuitive touch operation, digital controls, and auto-calibration for minimal manual intervention. Sample introduction is seamlessly performed via a needle probe, and full data management is achieved with USB or RS232 connectivity, storing up to 5000 test results.
Safe and Certified for Industrial UseWith IP40 enclosure protection, compliance with ISO 9001, and CE certification, this analyzer meets rigorous industry requirements. Audible and visual alarms signal over-limit conditions, enhancing safety in busy production environments, while compartmentalized storage ensures results are never lost.
FAQ's of Oxygen headspace analyzer:
Q: How does the oxygen headspace analyzer measure oxygen levels in sealed packages?
A: The analyzer uses an electrochemical oxygen sensor along with a needle probe to directly sample approximately 1 ml of gas from the headspace of sealed packages. The sensor detects oxygen concentration and delivers results quickly, usually in less than 10 seconds, displayed on a digital LCD.
Q: What types of industries can benefit from using this analyzer?
A: This equipment is particularly valuable for the food packaging, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, where controlling oxygen levels within packages is crucial for product preservation, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Q: When should I use the alarm function during oxygen analysis?
A: The alarm function is set to activate both audibly and visually if oxygen levels exceed user-defined limits. It should be used whenever monitoring for potential package leaks or quality control in production lines, alerting operators to conditions that may compromise product quality.
Q: Where should the analyzer be typically installed for optimal performance?
A: Designed as a bench-top unit, the analyzer should be installed in a clean, dry environment, adhering to the IP40 protection requirements and within its specified operating temperature (10-40C) and humidity (0-90% RH, non-condensing) conditions, preferably near packaging or quality labs.
Q: What is the process for conducting a headspace test with this equipment?
A: To perform a test, insert the needle probe into the package's headspace and let the analyzer draw a gas sample. The digital microprocessor processes the oxygen concentration, and results are displayed within seconds. Data for up to 5000 tests can be stored or exported via USB/RS232.
Q: How can routine measurements benefit my production process?
A: Regular use helps maintain package integrity, reduces spoilage, and ensures compliance with safety standards. Automated data recording and alarm notifications improve efficiency and documentation, supporting thorough quality assurance in high-volume operations.
