Test Principle

Firstly submerge the specimen in the water in the vacuum chamber, and then evacuate the vacuum chamber to form differential pressure between the inside and outside of specimen. The seal property can be obtained by observing the steady progression of bubbles from the specimen or observing how the specimen expands and restores to its original shape after vacuum release.

FAQ's of Bubble Leak Testing Vacuum Tube Leak Tester:

Q: How do I operate the Bubble Leak Testing Vacuum Tube Leak Tester?

A: Begin by placing your specimen into the chamber and sealing the lid using the quick-release clamps. Connect the supplied vacuum pump and control the vacuum level precisely with the needle valve. Observe any bubbles through the 360 acrylic window, indicating potential leaks.

Q: What types and sizes of specimens can be tested?

A: This tester is suitable for plastic, rubber, medical, and industrial tubes with outer diameters typically from 1 mm to 50 mm. Customizable holders are available to accommodate specific tube sizes.

Q: When is bubble leak testing recommended for quality control?

A: Bubble leak testing is ideal during routine inspections, production quality checks, and prior to product shipment for applications where leak integrity is critical-especially in medical, industrial, and packaging sectors.

Q: Where can the apparatus be safely installed and used?

A: Use the tester in clean, indoor environments at room temperatures between 0C and 40C, and humidity not exceeding 85% RH (non-condensing). Its boxed design and protective foam ensure safe storage and transport.

Q: What is the step-by-step testing process?

A: 1. Place the test specimen in chamber. 2. Secure with the quick-release clamps. 3. Add clean water as the observation medium. 4. Apply vacuum using the pump and needle valve. 5. Observe for bubbles indicating leaks. 6. Drain water after each test using the manual drainage valve.

Q: How does the tester benefit my operation?

A: The system provides fast, accurate leak detection with high safety standards, easy maintenance, and reliable compliance with international norms, minimizing faulty products and ensuring customer satisfaction.
