Test Principle
Firstly submerge the specimen in the water in the vacuum chamber, and then evacuate the vacuum chamber to form differential pressure between the inside and outside of specimen. The seal property can be obtained by observing the steady progression of bubbles from the specimen or observing how the specimen expands and restores to its original shape after vacuum release.

Its transparent polycarbonate chamber and stainless steel construction offer durability, visibility, and reliability, making it a prime choice for ensuring the integrity of critical packaging.
Accurate and Reliable Test ResultsWith a highly sensitive vacuum sensor and a digital LCD display, users achieve rapid and highly accurate leak detection (0.001 MPa). The microprocessor-controlled system supports both manual and automatic modes, giving flexibility for different testing needs and sample types.
Compliance and Easy Data OutputComprehensive compliance with USP and ISO 11607 guarantees suitability for global standards. The RS232/USB data output enables straightforward integration into digital record-keeping, ensuring traceability and audit-readiness in laboratory environments.
FAQ's of Blister packs leak detection test:
Q: How does the Blister Pack Leak Detector work?
A: The device operates by placing blister packs inside its transparent chamber, then creating a vacuum to detect any leaks. The high-sensitivity sensor monitors pressure changes, and any detected leak is indicated by an audio-visual alarm, ensuring quick and accurate identification of compromised packaging.
Q: What types of materials and specimen sizes can this leak detector test?
A: This detector is designed for blister packs, strips, and other small packages, with a maximum specimen size of 150 x 200 mm. Up to three samples can be tested simultaneously, making it ideal for batch testing in laboratories.
Q: When should I use this leak detector in pharmaceutical or packaging processes?
A: Use this leak detector during quality control phases, product development, or prior to shipping in order to confirm the integrity of packaging and prevent product contamination. Regular testing ensures compliance with regulatory standards such as USP and ISO 11607.
Q: Where can I install and operate this leak detection equipment?
A: The device is suitable for laboratory environments with standard 220V AC power supply. It operates efficiently at temperatures between 10C and 40C and humidity 80% RH, which matches typical quality control rooms in pharmaceutical and packaging facilities.
Q: What is the process for running a leak detection test?
A: Place the sample inside the chamber, select automatic or manual operating mode via the digital interface, and set your cycle parameters. Once the chamber is sealed with the silicone ring, initiate the vacuum process. The device will automatically detect and indicate leaks with audible and visual alarms.
Q: How does the built-in alarm benefit users during the testing process?
A: The combined audio-visual alarm system provides immediate notification of any detected leaks, allowing operators to promptly identify and address packaging issues, thereby reducing the risk of product loss or quality failures.
Q: What are the advantages of using this leak detector for exporters, manufacturers, and suppliers?
A: For exporters and suppliers, the detector ensures that products meet international packaging standards, reducing the risk of shipment rejections. For manufacturers, it streamlines batch-wise quality control, boosts efficiency, and enhances product credibility in global markets.
