Test Principle
The gas in the sample is pumped into the sensor through the vacuum pump, and the sensor outputs the real time current and voltage signals of O2 and CO2 (optional) concentration of the gas in the sample. The instrument calculates the content of O2 and CO2 (optional) in the gas by obtaining the current and voltage signal output by the sensor. After reaching the requirements for ending the tests, the tests stop, and the instrument records the concentration of O2 and CO2 (optional) in the gas tested in the sample.

Precision Oxygen Measurement for Vaccine IntegrityThis analyzer ensures optimal oxygen control within vaccine packaging, essential for maintaining product potency and shelf life. Its electrochemical sensor delivers precise readings across a wide range (0.001%100% O2), while the high sample throughput suits busy production environments. The equipment supports both manual and automated sample insertion, offering flexibility for diverse operation needs.
Ease of Use with Advanced Safety and Data FunctionsFeaturing a color touchscreen display with password protection, intuitive navigation, and robust data logging, this analyzer enhances user experience and data security. Audible and visual alarms alert operators to out-of-range oxygen values, while on-board memory holds up to 10,000 results, ensuring consistent traceability and quality assurance.
FAQs of Headspace Test for Oxygen Control in Vaccine Packaging:
Q: How does the Headspace Gas Analyzer help control oxygen in vaccine packaging?
A: The analyzer measures the oxygen concentration in the packagings headspace, using an electrochemical sensor to ensure accurate detection (0.001%100%). This helps maintain vaccine quality by preventing excess oxygen exposure, which could degrade sensitive biological products.
Q: What is the process for conducting a headspace oxygen test with this equipment?
A: Simply insert the sample manually or with an automated carriage, initiate the test via the digital touchscreen, and the analyzer will quickly (under 5 seconds) provide a precise oxygen measurement. Results are recorded in the devices memory and can be exported for further analysis.
Q: When should the sensor be replaced for optimal performance?
A: For accuracy and reliability, it is recommended to replace the electrochemical sensor every 12 to 18 months, depending on usage and environmental conditions.
Q: Where can this analyzer be installed for best results?
A: Install the analyzer in indoor, dust-free laboratory or production quality control areas. It is designed for benchtop use and operates reliably in temperatures between 1045C and humidity levels of 10%90% RH.
Q: What are the advantages of using this analyzer in high-throughput vaccine production lines?
A: This equipment enables fast, non-destructive oxygen measurement with adjustable test speed (0.5 to 5 mL/sec) and streamlined sample handling, increasing efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving overall product safety.
Q: How are data managed and exported from the device?
A: Measurement data are safely stored on board (up to 10,000 samples) and can be exported to a PC for advanced analysis using the compatible software via USB or Ethernet interface.
Q: What safety features does this oxygen analyzer include?
A: It offers both audible and visual alarms for out-of-range oxygen values, password-protected user access, CE certification, and a corrosion-resistant enclosure for operational safety in critical environments.
