Test Principle
Firstly submerge the specimen in the water in the vacuum chamber, and then evacuate the vacuum chamber to form differential pressure between the inside and outside of specimen. The seal property can be obtained by observing the steady progression of bubbles from the specimen or observing how the specimen expands and restores to its original shape after vacuum release.

FAQ's of Evaluating Meat Product Packaging Seal Strength:
Q: How does the Digital Seal Strength Tester measure seal integrity for meat product packaging?
A: The tester evaluates seal strength using adjustable pneumatic grips and a microcomputer-controlled mechanism, providing precise measurements across a range of settings. It automatically and manually calibrates results, ensuring reliability according to ISO 11607-1 and ASTM F88/F88M standards.
Q: What are the data storage and export features of the tester?
A: This device can store up to 1000 test results internally. All test data can be exported in both Excel and PDF formats via RS232/USB interfaces, facilitating easy sharing, record-keeping, and regulatory documentation.
Q: When should calibration be performed and what methods are available?
A: Calibration is recommended before initiating a new series of tests or after significant periods of non-use. Both automatic and manual calibration options are available to maintain accurate readings and uphold testing standards.
Q: Where is the Digital Seal Strength Tester typically used?
A: It is commonly used in laboratory or industrial settings by manufacturers, suppliers, and exporters in China and abroad for packaging quality control of meat products. Its benchtop mounting makes it suitable for dedicated QC departments.
Q: What is the process for operating the tester during seal strength measurement?
A: Specimens are inserted into adjustable pneumatic grips, test parameters are set via the touch-screen interface, and the test is started. Measurements are displayed on the LCD screen in less than a second, and results are securely stored for analysis.
Q: How does the tester contribute to packaging quality assurance?
A: By providing accurate, repeatable, and compliant seal strength measurements with a quick response time and automated data analysis, the tester helps identify weak seals, ensuring the protection and quality of meat products during distribution.
Q: What safety features are included in the machine's operation?
A: The tester incorporates an emergency stop button, overload alarm, and overload protection for operator safety. It operates within safe parameters, including controlled humidity and temperature ranges, ensuring reliable and secure testing procedures.
