FAQ's of Ensuring the safety of pharmaceutical products by Testing Heat-shrink film tamper-evident packaging:
Q: How does the tester ensure the safety of pharmaceutical packaging?
A: The tester verifies the integrity of heat-shrink tamper-evident features on pharmaceutical packages by applying controlled forces compliant with ASTM F1886, F88, and ISO 11607 standards, ensuring packages have not been compromised.
Q: What compliance standards does the equipment meet, and why are they important?
A: This tester adheres to ASTM F1886, F88, and ISO 11607 standards, which are crucial for validating the strength and tamper-evidence of pharmaceutical packaging, aiding manufacturers in meeting global regulatory requirements.
Q: When should pharmaceutical manufacturers use this equipment during production?
A: Manufacturers employ this tester during final packaging checks or for routine quality assurance, ensuring tamper-evident seals are secure before products are released for distribution.
Q: Where can the tamper-evident packaging tester be installed?
A: The equipment is designed for bench-top installation in QC labs or pharmaceutical production environments. Its anti-static and dust-proof enclosure enables reliable operation across various industrial settings.
Q: What is the process for performing a test using this machine?
A: Prepare a specimen (approx. 3 minutes), insert it with the adjustable grips, set testing parameters via the digital interface, and then initiate the test. Data is automatically logged for traceability and analysis.
Q: How does the alarm and safety system function during testing?
A: If an applied force exceeds preset safety thresholds, the system triggers both audible and visual alarms and can halt operation immediately using the emergency stop, preventing accidents or equipment damage.
Q: What are the benefits of using interchangeable grips and user calibration?
A: Interchangeable pneumatic and mechanical grips accommodate various specimen sizes and package types, while user calibration ensures continued measurement accuracy, reducing downtime and enhancing flexibility in quality assurance.
