Test Principle
Firstly submerge the specimen in the water in the vacuum chamber, and then evacuate the vacuum chamber to form differential pressure between the inside and outside of specimen. The seal property can be obtained by observing the steady progression of bubbles from the specimen or observing how the specimen expands and restores to its original shape after vacuum release.

FAQ's of Package Seal Integrity Testers:
Q: How does the Package Seal Integrity Tester detect leaks in packaging?
A: The tester uses a pressure transducer sensor which monitors the pressure inside the stainless steel vacuum chamber. If a drop in pressure is detected during testing, the integrated audio-visual alarm alerts the user to potential leaks in the package seal.
Q: What types of packaging can be tested with this device?
A: It is suitable for flexible packaging materials up to 300 mm in width and 300 mm in max height. The system is ideal for single specimen seal integrity, leak testing, and seal strength evaluation, especially in food, medical, and industrial applications.
Q: When should calibration be done for this tester?
A: The tester is factory-calibrated and comes with a calibration certificate. Recalibration should be performed periodically according to your quality system or regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing accuracy.
Q: Where can test records be stored and accessed?
A: The tester has built-in memory capacity to store up to 100 test records. Data can be accessed via the digital display or exported through USB/RS232 interfaces for further analysis and traceability.
Q: What is the process for conducting a seal integrity test?
A: To conduct a test, secure the specimen using the provided clamps, set the required test parameters on the digital panel, and initiate the test. The machine automatically controls the vacuum and monitors for any leaks. Results are displayed instantly, and alarms notify you of any seal failures.
Q: How does multilingual support enhance usability?
A: With support for English, French, and Spanish, operators from diverse backgrounds can easily navigate the control panel, ensuring wider usability and reducing the risk of operational errors.
Q: What are the main benefits of using this Package Seal Integrity Tester?
A: The main benefits include precise, reliable leak detection, compliance with industry standards, user-friendly operation, robust data storage, and minimal training needs thanks to its intuitive design and multilingual interface.
