Test Principle
Firstly submerge the specimen in the water in the vacuum chamber, and then evacuate the vacuum chamber to form differential pressure between the inside and outside of specimen. The seal property can be obtained by observing the steady progression of bubbles from the specimen or observing how the specimen expands and restores to its original shape after vacuum release.

Efficient Leak Detection for Packaging IntegrityThe Labthink Bubble Leak Tester provides a reliable visual method for detecting leaks in flexible packaging, pouches, blister packs, and containers used in food and pharma industries. By immersing the specimen in the water-filled chamber and observing for bubbles under adjustable pressure, users can swiftly identify compromised seals and prevent contamination or spoilage. Its ease of use and accurate measurements make it an essential quality control tool.
User-Friendly Operation with Enhanced SafetyOperating the device is straightforward, with its manual screw knob clamp and intuitive push-button control panel. Operating at ambient temperatures and standard AC mains power, the tester features an integrated pressure regulator and high-precision sensor with fast response time. Safety is prioritized through overpressure protection, ensuring secure testing even at pressures up to 0.6 MPa. Its digital display ensures clear results reading.
Versatile Applications Across QA, R&D, and ProductionThis bubble leak tester is ideal for various settings, including quality assurance labs, production line testing, and research and development facilities. The test chamber is designed to accommodate standard specimen sizes, allowing single-specimen testing per cycle. Both remote and onsite service support are available, making installation and troubleshooting easy for manufacturers, suppliers, and exporters.
FAQ's of Leak testing device food and pharma bubble leak tester by Labthink:
Q: How does the Labthink Bubble Leak Tester detect package leaks?
A: The device uses visual observation-by immersing the packaging specimen in water within the test chamber, any leaks are revealed by the formation of bubbles when pressure is applied. This method quickly identifies defects in seals or material integrity.
Q: What types of packaging can be tested with this bubble leak tester?
A: It is suitable for flexible packaging, pouches, blister packs, and containers used in food and pharmaceutical industries, fitting specimens up to 300mm x 250mm x 100mm within the 12-liter chamber.
Q: When should QA laboratories use the bubble leak tester?
A: QA labs should use the bubble leak tester during routine quality checks, before shipping products, or when verifying seal and packaging integrity following modifications, new designs, or material changes.
Q: Where can this leak testing device be installed and operated?
A: The device is versatile and can be installed in quality assurance labs, production lines, or research and development departments. It operates from standard AC mains power and fits on typical work benches due to its compact dimensions.
Q: What is the process for conducting a bubble leak test with this device?
A: Place the specimen inside the chamber, clamp it using the manual screw knob, fill the chamber with water, and apply the desired pressure using the integrated regulator. Observe for bubbles to identify any leaks and record the digital display readings for documentation.
Q: How does the bubble leak tester benefit food and pharmaceutical manufacturers?
A: By allowing rapid, accurate detection of leaks, manufacturers can ensure product safety, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. Early leak identification helps reduce product loss, contamination risks, and costly recalls.
Q: What service support options are available for this product?
A: Labthink provides both remote and onsite support for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, ensuring users worldwide have access to expert help as needed.
