Test Principle
The gas inside the test package is brought to the gas sensor by the air pump. The instrument analyzes the volume of oxygen and carbon dioxide (optional) contained in the sample gas by calculating the electrical signals generated by the gas sensor. When the preset condition is met, the test is completed and the system records the oxygen and carbon dioxide (optional) concentration.
Applications
| Basic Applications |
- Packaging Bags
Test the volume of O2 and CO2 (optional) in headspace of non-vacuum sealed packaging bags of coffee, cheese, milk tea, milk powder, bread, bean powder, instant food and drugs, etc.
|
- Packaging Containers
Test the volume of O2 and CO2 (optional) in headspace of packaging containers of coffee, milk powder, food, cheese, can, Tetra Pak and beverage, etc.

Advanced Sensor TechnologyEquipped with both electrochemical and NDIR sensors, this analyser precisely detects O2 and CO2 concentrations ranging from 0.1% to 100%. These advanced technologies deliver rapid and highly accurate results with minimal sample volume, ensuring the integrity of cosmetic packaging headspace over product shelf life.
Efficient Data ManagementAutomated storage of up to 10,000 test records, accessible in CSV and PDF formats, provides comprehensive documentation for audits and quality assurance. The USB and RS232 interfaces allow seamless exporting and integration with laboratory information systems, simplifying compliance and record-keeping tasks.
User-Friendly OperationA digital LCD display and intuitive control panel make operation straightforward, even at adjustable test speeds. The analyser features both audio and visual alarms for swift response upon threshold exceedance, while its benchtop design ensures easy installation within laboratory environments.
FAQ's of Packaging Material headspace air analyser Test for Ensuring Cosmetic Shelf Life:
Q: How does the Headspace Air Analyser improve cosmetic packaging shelf life assurance?
A: It measures oxygen and carbon dioxide levels inside packaging using non-destructive sampling, confirming gas composition that supports extended shelf life and product integrity for cosmetics.
Q: What steps are involved in conducting a headspace air analysis test for cosmetics?
A: Simply place the specimen within the measurement area, initiate the test via the digital control panel, and review real-time O2 and CO2 readings on the LCD display. Data is automatically stored for further evaluation.
Q: When is calibration recommended for optimal analyser performance?
A: Manufacturers and users are advised to calibrate the analyser every 12 months to maintain accurate measurements and compliance with ISO and ASTM standards.
Q: Where can I view and export test results from the analyser?
A: Results are displayed instantly on the digital LCD and can be exported via USB or RS232 interfaces in CSV or PDF formats for documentation and further analysis.
Q: What are the benefits of audio and visual alarm functions during testing?
A: These alarms provide immediate alerts when pre-set gas threshold limits are exceeded, allowing operators to promptly address deviations and ensure product quality.
Q: How much sample volume is required for each measurement?
A: The analyser needs less than 2 mL of headspace sample per test, minimizing waste and preserving the cosmetic specimen throughout the analysis process.
Q: What advantage does non-destructive sampling offer for cosmetic packaging?
A: Non-destructive sampling enables the analyser to evaluate each specimen's headspace without damaging the packaging, preserving product for further use or sale.
