Test Principle
Firstly submerge the specimen in the water in the vacuum chamber, and then evacuate the vacuum chamber to form differential pressure between the inside and outside of specimen. The seal property can be obtained by observing the steady progression of bubbles from the specimen or observing how the specimen expands and restores to its original shape after vacuum release.

Advanced Leak Detection for Packaging IntegrityThis equipment guarantees precise leak detection using air or water as the test medium, safeguarding the integrity of medical, food, and industrial packaging. Its highly responsive digital LED display provides results in under two seconds. The well-designed interface, compact form, and corrosion-resistant materials ensure smooth operation and longevity.
Operator-Friendly Features and SafetyUser interaction is made simple with a digital control panel and membrane keypad. Safety is a priority, with an overpressure safety valve and audio-visual alarms to immediately alert users to leaks. The integrated, oil-free vacuum pump reduces maintenance while keeping testing clean and hassle-free.
FAQs of Package Leak Testing Equipment:
Q: How does this Package Leak Testing Equipment operate and what is the testing process?
A: The equipment uses an integrated, oil-free vacuum pump to create a controlled environment within the stainless steel chamber. The package is placed inside, and the operator sets the test parameters via the digital control panel. Depending on the selected medium (air or water), the system detects leaks by monitoring pressure changes and signals results through its audio-visual alert and digital display.
Q: What types of packaging can be tested with this equipment?
A: This machine is suitable for a broad range of packaging formats, including pouches, trays, bottles, vacuum packs, and Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) up to 300 mm x 300 mm. Its design ensures accurate testing for most packaging used in medical, food, and industrial sectors.
Q: When is it necessary to perform package leak testing in quality control or R&D?
A: Leak testing should be performed during product development, periodic quality checks, and before shipment to ensure package integrity. It is particularly crucial for products requiring sterile or modified atmosphere environments, such as pharmaceuticals, food, or sensitive electronic components.
Q: Where can this Package Leak Testing Equipment be installed and used?
A: Designed as a compact, table-top unit with a robust stainless steel chamber, it can be easily installed in labs, quality control departments, and production facilities. Its portability and modest footprint (540 x 390 x 350 mm) make it ideal for space-conscious environments.
Q: What are the benefits of using a device compliant with ISO 11607 and ASTM F2096?
A: Compliance with these standards ensures reliable, reproducible test results accepted internationally. It demonstrates that your quality processes meet strict regulatory requirements, reducing the risk of product recalls or safety issues due to package leaks.
Q: How does the equipment ensure operator and product safety during testing?
A: Operator safety is maintained through an overpressure safety valve and robust, corrosion-resistant chamber. The audio-visual alarm system warns immediately in case of leak detection, and the oil-free vacuum pump prevents contamination. The equipment runs on safe 230V AC, 50Hz power supply.
Q: What is the process for recording and exporting test data?
A: Test data can be easily recorded and exported via the built-in USB or printer port. Results are displayed on the 4-inch LCD panel and can be quickly saved or printed for documentation, traceability, and compliance audit purposes.
