Test Principle
Firstly submerge the specimen in the water in the vacuum chamber, and then evacuate the vacuum chamber to form differential pressure between the inside and outside of specimen. The seal property can be obtained by observing the steady progression of bubbles from the specimen or observing how the specimen expands and restores to its original shape after vacuum release.

Advanced Pressure Decay TechnologyEmploying a pressure decay method, the Bottle Leak Tester Machine accurately identifies leaks by monitoring minute changes in pressure using highly sensitive sensors. The test cycle is adjustable, generally between 10 to 60 seconds, enabling effective examination of bottles ranging from 1 ml to 5 liters and delivering results quickly with a resolution of 0.1 kPa.
Optimized For Industrial EnvironmentsDesigned for indoor, dust-free settings, this machine offers robust performance with over pressure protection and emergency stop features. Its powder-coated mild steel construction and SS clamps assure durability, making it suitable for continual use in industrial bottle leak detection processes.
Versatile User Interface & ConnectivityControl is intuitive via a membrane keypad, with options for digital and manual operating modes. The digital LCD display provides instant feedback, and users can access test records via RS232 or optional USB interfaces. Features like auto stop, alarm notifications, and result memory enhance operational convenience.
FAQ's of Equipment For Leak Testing Bottle Leak Tester Machine:
Q: How does the Bottle Leak Tester Machine determine if a bottle has a leak?
A: The machine utilizes the pressure decay method, where clean, dry compressed air is injected into the bottle. Its highly sensitive pressure sensor detects any drop in pressure, indicating a potential leak. The results are displayed as pass or fail on the digital LCD screen.
Q: What types and sizes of bottles can be tested with this equipment?
A: This tester is capable of evaluating plastic, PET, or glass bottles ranging from 1 ml up to 5 liters in capacity. Customized holders facilitate various specimen sizes, and the system accommodates bottles up to 120 mm in width and a maximum height of 350 mm.
Q: When should this Bottle Leak Tester Machine be used in the production process?
A: Ideally, the machine is deployed after bottle molding or filling to ensure integrity before packaging. Regular use during production helps maintain consistent quality and prevent defective bottles from reaching downstream processes or customers.
Q: Where is the ideal location to install and operate this machine?
A: The recommended operating environment is a dust-free, indoor area on a bench-top surface. Stable temperature (5C - 40C) and humidity levels (10% - 85% RH) help maintain optimal sensor accuracy and instrument reliability.
Q: What is the operating process for performing a leak test on bottles?
A: Bottles are securely placed in customized holders, and the desired test parameters are set using the membrane keypad. The machine applies compressed air and monitors pressure decay, with adjustable cycle times and test stroke. Results are then displayed and recorded automatically.
Q: How does using this leak tester benefit manufacturers and suppliers?
A: This equipment ensures product quality by quickly detecting leaks, reducing waste, and minimizing the risk of customer complaints. Data logging and automated features improve traceability and compliance, streamlining operations for exporters, manufacturers, and suppliers in the bottle industry.
