Test Principle
Firstly submerge the specimen in the water in the vacuum chamber, and then evacuate the vacuum chamber to form differential pressure between the inside and outside of specimen. The seal property can be obtained by observing the steady progression of bubbles from the specimen or observing how the specimen expands and restores to its original shape after vacuum release.

FAQ's of Vacuum Package Integrity Test Equipment:
Q: How does the leak detection process work in this equipment?
A: The vacuum package integrity tester detects leaks using both automatic digital sensors and visual cues. Once the vacuum is generated by the silent pump and maintained within the chamber, any drop in pressure or observable bubble formation indicates package leakage. The results are displayed instantly on the digital LCD screen.
Q: What types of packages can be tested and what is the maximum specimen size allowed?
A: This equipment can test up to three packages simultaneously with a maximum specimen size of 300 x 250 mm and a specimen chamber height of up to 250 mm. It is ideal for flexible and rigid packages used in various industries.
Q: Where is this test equipment typically used?
A: It is mainly deployed in quality control laboratories for routine package integrity, leak, and seal strength assessments. Manufacturers, suppliers, and exporters in China utilize this equipment for compliance and assurance in packaging standards.
Q: What are the maintenance requirements and how are filters replaced?
A: Maintenance is straightforward, featuring tool-free filter replacement for easy upkeep. Regular checks ensure optimal performance and prolong the life of built-in components without specialized tools.
Q: How is calibration performed and why is it important?
A: Calibration can be done manually or automatically to guarantee consistent accuracy (1% F.S.) across the measuring range. Regular calibration is essential for reliable test outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards.
Q: What benefits does the dual chamber design offer?
A: The dual chamber design increases sample throughput, allowing simultaneous testing of multiple specimens. This optimizes laboratory efficiency and enables faster decision-making in production and QA processes.
Q: What happens if an unsafe pressure is detected during operation?
A: If an unsafe overpressure is detected, the system activates its overpressure protection and auto shutoff features, immediately stopping the test. Audio and visual alarms notify operators to address the issue, ensuring safety at all times.
