Test Principle

The gas inside the test package is brought to the gas sensor by the air pump. The instrument analyzes the volume of oxygen and carbon dioxide (optional) contained in the sample gas by calculating the electrical signals generated by the gas sensor. When the preset condition is met, the test is completed and the system records the oxygen and carbon dioxide (optional) concentration.

Applications

Basic Applications
  • Packaging Bags
Test the volume of O2 and CO2 (optional) in headspace of non-vacuum sealed packaging bags of coffee, cheese, milk tea, milk powder, bread, bean powder, instant food and drugs, etc.
  • Packaging Containers
Test the volume of O2 and CO2 (optional) in headspace of packaging containers of coffee, milk powder, food, cheese, can, Tetra Pak and beverage, etc.
Extended Applications
  • Ampoule Bottles
Test the volume of O2 and CO2 (optional) in headspace of ampoule bottles

Non-Destructive Quality Testing

This analyzer provides a non-invasive way to determine headspace oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in sealed glass bottles. The process preserves bottle integrity while delivering rapid, accurate results, making it essential for quality assurance in production environments. The digital LCD display enables quick data interpretation and decision-making.

Advanced Sensor Technology

Combining electrochemical sensors for O2 and NDIR sensors for CO2, this equipment achieves high accuracy (O2: 0.05%, CO2: 0.1%) and resolution (0.01%). Fast response times (10 seconds) enhance laboratory efficiency, while both manual syringe and inbuilt needle sampling options cater to diverse operational needs.

Flexible Calibration and Data Management

Auto or manual calibration can be performed with standard gases, guaranteeing consistent measurements. Data logging is facilitated by interfaces for USB, RS232, and Ethernet, with outputs available in CSV or Excel formats. This flexibility streamlines reporting and regulatory compliance for manufacturers.

FAQ's of Sealed Glass Bottles Headspace Gas Analysis Ensuring Product Integrity:

Q: How does the headspace gas analyzer ensure product integrity in sealed glass bottles?

A: By accurately measuring oxygen and carbon dioxide concentrations using non-destructive sampling methods, the analyzer detects potential contamination or leakage without compromising the bottle seal, ensuring consistent product quality and further regulatory compliance.

Q: What is the process for sampling gases from a sealed glass bottle using this instrument?

A: Gases are extracted either via a manual syringe or an inbuilt needle that pierces the bottle's headspace under controlled conditions. The system then rapidly analyzes O2 and CO2 concentrations, delivering results in seconds with high precision.

Q: When should calibration be performed on the analyzer, and how is it done?

A: Calibration can be conducted automatically or manually using standard gas mixtures. It should be performed regularly as per standard operating procedures or after sensor replacement to maintain measurement accuracy. Both methods are user-friendly and guided by the digital interface.

Q: Where is this analyzer most commonly used?

A: This equipment is primarily utilized in pharmaceutical and beverage manufacturing facilities, often in quality control laboratories, to validate the integrity of sealed glass bottle products before release or during process monitoring.

Q: What data output and alarm options are available for monitoring and documentation?

A: Results are automatically saved in CSV or Excel formats for seamless data management. User-defined upper and lower limits can trigger audible or visual alarms, ensuring timely corrective actions when out-of-specification conditions are detected.

Q: How does the adjustable test speed enhance workflow efficiency?

A: Adjustable test speeds (20-100 tests per hour) allow operators to tailor throughput based on batch sizes or quality control demands, thus optimizing productivity without compromising result quality.

Q: What are the key benefits of using this analyzer for quality control applications?

A: It offers fast, accurate, and non-destructive headspace gas analysis, ensures compliance with USP, FDA, and ISO standards, supports versatile calibration, and provides robust data management-ideal for maximizing product reliability.
