Test Principle
The gas inside the test package is brought to the gas sensor by the air pump. The instrument analyzes the volume of oxygen and carbon dioxide (optional) contained in the sample gas by calculating the electrical signals generated by the gas sensor. When the preset condition is met, the test is completed and the system records the oxygen and carbon dioxide (optional) concentration.

Advanced Oxygen Analysis for Pharmaceutical QualityDesigned to meet rigorous pharmaceutical quality standards, this Headspace Gas Analyzer delivers fast and accurate oxygen analysis in product packaging. Its compliance with USP <1207>, EU GMP Annex 1, and ISO ensures reliability in regulatory environments. Automatic/manual calibration, high memory capacity, and a built-in printer simplify workflows, helping manufacturers maintain stringent quality protocols.
Efficient Sampling and Real-Time MonitoringUtilizing a needle penetration sampling method, the analyzer provides non-destructive measurement of oxygen inside packaging without compromising sample integrity. Real-time data acquisition and a digital LCD display enable swift monitoring, while programmable alarms notify operators of threshold breaches, enhancing process control and safety.
Easy Data Management and User-Friendly OperationThis system offers seamless data management with export options (CSV, PDF), multi-language support, and a thermal printer for documentation. With automatic data storage of up to 1000 test results and intuitive microprocessor-based control, users benefit from efficient, reliable, and streamlined analysis in laboratory or QC settings.
FAQ's of Headspace Gas Analyzer for Oxygen Analysis in Pharmaceutical Quality Control:
Q: How does the Headspace Gas Analyzer measure oxygen levels in pharmaceutical packaging?
A: The analyzer uses an electrochemical sensor and a needle penetration (headspace sampling) technique to non-destructively measure oxygen concentration inside vials, ampoules, bottles, or pouches.
Q: What types of samples can be tested with this analyzer and what is its capacity?
A: It can test single specimens ranging from 2 mL to 50 mL, including vials, ampoules, bottles, and pouches. The system supports single or dual sample holders for efficient testing.
Q: When should the programmable high/low oxygen alarm function be used?
A: Set the programmable alarm to promptly alert operators when oxygen concentrations exceed or fall below predefined limits, enabling immediate response and consistent quality control in production or laboratory environments.
Q: Where can this analyzer be deployed for optimal operational performance?
A: The instrument is designed for laboratory and quality control room settings, featuring a bench-top mounting type, low power consumption, and low noise operation (<40 dB(A)) to suit controlled environments.
Q: What is the calibration process for the Headspace Gas Analyzer?
A: Calibration can be performed automatically or manually, using zero and span calibration methods. This ensures accuracy and reliability across repeated measurements.
Q: How can test results be stored and exported for further analysis?
A: Up to 1000 test results are stored internally. Data can be exported in CSV and PDF formats via interfaces such as RS232 and USB, with automatic real-time acquisition and integrated thermal printing for hardcopy documentation.
Q: What are the key benefits of using this analyzer in pharmaceutical quality control?
A: Benefits include accurate, non-destructive oxygen measurement, regulatory compliance, high-speed testing (30 tests/hour), real-time monitoring, reliable documentation, and streamlined procedures to improve product safety and shelf-life assurance.
